"One should eat to live, not live to eat " - Benjamin Franklin
One of the greatest England Philosopher Benjamin Franklin has coined this statement in favour of the people who give most importance to the food rather than the duty. In society we can find both types of persons. One gives importance to the foods. I believe that eating should not be our favorite activity but something must do to maintain not only our health but also our society.
Food, clothe, shelter and education are considered the basic need of the people. Food must be taken as only a source of energy. Though food is essential part of life but we should not live for food only. As being a member of society it is our prime duty to do something generous for our society and its development. Our life must be a beacon light for the people and should be realized by our deeds. Food can’t be mentioned as a core element of one’s life. Life is beautiful and it has various scopes so we it’s aspect must be enjoyed by everyone. Excessive food gives us obesity which creates a way for unhealthy life.
Those who ‘live to eat’ view food as something more in there’s life than just a fuel. When food takes on greater meaning than its nutrients we start running into troubles. So I suggest that eat for nourishment not as a pleasure in life.
"Beauty Is Truth, Truth Beauty"
The famous line 'Beauty is truth, truth beauty’, is taken from the Ode On A Grecian Urn by John Keats. It emphasizes the identity of beauty and truth. According to him real beauty lies in truth. Anything which is not true and is false cannot be called beautiful. All these represent truth are beautiful only when its are truly represented and manifested. What is not true or good can never really be beautiful though it may have superficial attraction. Truth and falsehood are qualities that belong to the work of our hands. They are expressed by our whole personalities, by our characters, by our conduct, by our general talk and conversation in the world. Great truths are often communicated by works of art: literature, sculpture, architecture, painting, films or other effective media understood by humans.
An artist who puts is heart and soul in his work and applies true tones of colour theme and dedication, is able to produce a beautiful piece. If his purpose is simply to flatter the onlooker and paint for the sake of getting outward appreciation, his face cannot be called a piece of lasting beauty.
Truth is a beautiful operation, a dynamic thing which does its beneficent work in a personal and social context. Thus, ‘Beauty is truth, truth beauty’. This is the basic truth which all humans should know. The truth of this poetic saying has in fact been always recognized in India through the concept of the unity of God, Truth and Beauty Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram.
" A bad workman blames his tools."
If someone performs job poorly or unsuccessfully, they will usually lay The Blame On the poor quality of the equipment or other such external factors. Rather than take responsibility for their own failure. When a person does not know his skill and gets fail in it, he blames other things for his failures. He doesn't accept his shortcomings and burden the failure on someone or something else.
Really talented person doesn't blame on anything but the person who has lack of talent and if you fail, he start telling excuses on his tools and other things but he has lack of knowledge.
This saying is normally used for the people who do not work how to work and never accept the same fact If one has made a mistake then one must know how to accept it otherwise, he would be a bad
workman blames his tools
'If winter comes can spring be far behind'
The quotation describes the seasonal cycle that after winter spring is so near, same is the cycle in man’s life the sorrows and sufferings are followed by happiness and comfort. In the proverb, the winter season that is dark and tough is symbolised by the trial times. But spring that is bright and colourful season, is symbolized by happiness.
Life of any person never remains the same. It is a blend of sufferings and joys. They always go side by side. It can be said that joys and sorrows are spice of life if they are separated life would be tasteless. So man should not lose heart in some hard times. What holds true for an individual also stands for nation. Nation cannot be built in a day. It takes a long time for a nation to come out of its crisis and become a civilized or developed. The proverb is very right in conditions of Pakistan. The country presently is mired in multi-facet crisis and masses have got panic for its progress. Hence, the need of the hour is patience and perseverance. One should not lose hope, rather he must play his part for the peace and progress of the country. One day our nation will cope successfully with these problems. And it will soon regain its lost prestige among fellow nations. And its citizen will lead a peaceful and prosperous life.
So the lesson of proverb is one should not lose hope in his trial times rather he should struggle for better future and remain positive in such conditions. It is a principle of nature that time never remains same. It is a promise of nature that after every dark and cold times there would be bright and colourful spring.

" A friend in need is a friend indeed "
It is absolutely true a friend in need is a friend indeed. In this crowded world, we may get attracted to many human beings and start a friendship with them. But all friends are not true. Our elders have made a formula to test who is a true friend and who is not. This formula is ‘A Friend in
Need is A Friend Indeed.’
It means if a friend stands by you even in your hard times and be a comfort to you, then that friend is true. Mostly the world is full of fair-weather friends only. They stand with you when you are happy and prosperous. The moment hard times come, they leave you. We should be very careful of such opportunistic friends. While deciding for friends, we should use this formula: ‘A Friend in Need is A
Friend Indeed.’
If a man has to be successful in life, he must not only have few friends, but well-chosen also. A loyal, wise, and true friend is the best gift of life. The influences of such a friend or friends are always positive, motivating, and inspirational.
